CAPPADOCIA. Galatians. Mid 2nd to early 1st century BC. 'Drachm' (Silver, 19 mm, 1.25 g), imitating one of the later Seleukid kings. Sylized head to left. Rev. Stylized cornucopiae; imitative legend around. Hoover, AJN 10 (1998), Group IVD, -. SC ('Commagenian Imitations') -, cf. 1775. Very rare. An attractive piece of highly degraded style. Porous, otherwise, about very fine.
